A youtube channel on the web at smartwatchdicks.com got a what could be a game. Changer watch to show you today, it's called the watch sg2 now that's pretty innocuous. However, wait until you see some of the special features of this one when you open it up, bands watch and all the goodies underneath it comes to us from gearbest and it's, a lympho designed watch the lympho sg2 amoled '0 by '0 hd gorgeous screen and the Secret that isn't even listed here i'll tell you in a minute it's on flash sale right now, really good price. If it's dropped out of that check, the show notes get the link to go to here and uh check for a coupon if it's uh no longer in flash sale. Okay, when the flash sales are on the coupons generally don't work, but when the price goes back up, we can usually pull it back down for you. Okay, the main features of this watch are ip68 waterproof, a 1.2 inch amoled high definition, film '0 by '0 round screen what's missing after this comma is there's an option to turn it to always on and folks it's cool. It works wireless charging that's. The other thing i really like about it it's got an app push, pin no idea what that is, uh daily long light that might be what they mean by the always on mode it's using bluetooth 5.1. So the whole thing is going to be low power.

All the way around vector front same as android phone. It says it does heart rate and blood pressure and oximeter and it says offline payments, although i haven't seen that or worked with it got stop watch music control, remote camera, the standard stuff, there's, the chipset, tech's, uh information, um the screen again, the bluetooth stuff, heart Rate monitor battery is 230 milliamp hour and fully charged for 150 minutes from what i can tell it's going to last. A long long time here are the languages of the watch. Here are the languages of the tethering app, and here is the device itself. First of all, it's a sweet little thing, it's, a really well designed very nice case, got a little cover on it matching strap for it. This is the black one and well i'll get it out later. We got to put the whole thing together when i open up the inside i've got the little charger magnetic wireless folks. You just drop it on there and it's going to charge so there's, no electrical contacts whatsoever. So on your arm, you're not going to have any sweat touching any pins, beautiful design. Okay, see why it's worth about 50 bucks or so now, we've got the manual and inside here in english it says it's, smartwatch user manual, the basic instructions multiple faces on here. You got two buttons: the power buttons at the bottom and a function button at the top basic info about charging there's the qr code.

The app is different. We haven't played with this one it's, not h, plus fit folks looked all over for that it's. Just h plus fit, but it is all one word and it's, not the h, plus app, so um use the the link in the show notes down below. To take you right to the google uh play store to download it or at least to see what it looks like. So you know what you're looking for. I generally recommend that over the qr code scanning anyway, sometimes that just connects you into china and it's better. If you can go through the google play store than to try to download it independently, okay that's the information in the manual. This side is empty. That'S, the box i'll be putting it together, i'm, going to show you guys. The very first feature that really is a selling point for this watch. Are you ready two buttons, the bottom one on this one? Is the power button press and hold welcome? Give it a second and boom we're up into gorgeous gorgeous watch faces. The colors are super sharp super clear now watch this there's a lot of depth and confusion to how the operating system is laid out on this one i'm, going to swipe over here, i'm going to get past the daily step count and last night's sleep time, i'm. Going to get past all the measurement stuff here is all of your um fitness stuff going to skip that now, i'm, going to skip the music player and finally i'm going to go to this wheel but i'm not going to go to the wheel i'm going to Tap the center and i'm going to go over here, where you have this multiple circles.

Well, what one circle on this one and you find the icon that's blue! That says: find i'm going to nope nope nope that finds your phone i'm. Looking for the dark, blue icon it's this one over here, i touched that and it says bright dial it's, not on the main wheel. You have to go to the secondary wheel. You touch the center, it brings it up. You turn it on. Ah, you turn it on and you exit out of here any way you want to. You want to get back to the watch face when it dims down three two one: there you go. It is now and it's always on low power mode, and the time is going to after the first minute, it's going to stop the cpu from doing anything and it'll show you the time it to the minute and at the top of the minute it will advance It one minute so the seconds are not going to work they're going to be off, but it's going to be accurate time to the minute and it's going to always be on in this brightness on this watch face, and that applies to all the other watch faces. As well, which i want to show you, oh there you go see, see the second hand is gone from the screen and at the top of the minute it would just jump to the next one and down here digital. It shows you the digital time on this particular face as well light it up.

Brings it back you're good to go. Let me show you another face, a special one that i downloaded here, because you do have download capability this one. I particularly like it's, bright, yellow, gives me my power level and my heart rate and stuff, and there it dimmed down and now it's. Actually, in that always on time mode and it's not going to go any dimmer than that and it's not going to turn off when i tap it i'm back and everything is working. Hunky, dory yeah isn't that sweet now combine that with a wireless charger that you just set it on and i think folks we may actually have a really good watch. I don't care if it's a smart watch, it's a watch and it tells time whenever i want to see it and that's really cool. You want it bright because you're outdoors tap it you can set the brightness all the way full and you got it all right. Now, let's ben begin the review for those of you who like to go through these things from the very start, that's why i would buy it that's why this is a keeper it's going on the bedside desk, where i've got most of my you know, wear often Type watches and i will be wearing this a lot simply because i get always on time and i get a great display when you swipe down you've got the brightness level there. You go that's full brightness how's that you can't even tell it's yellow.

Can you it's so bright it's watched the color out now it's down to that dim level. The dim level is the same across the board, no matter what your brightness is set to qr code to scan, for i got to go to the lowest one for uh, connecting to your phone when you're, bluetooth, tethered that will be lit up there. That'S, your power uh level i'm at a hundred percent. No, i don't know how long it lasts with or without the uh always on time. But yes, i am going to test this one so i'm going to run it down with the always on time. Active and uh in the show notes, i will tell you how long the battery lasts. For me, okay, this is one of those that i will test it because it's meaningful. I want to see if i can get at least a full day with the always on display. You know the android watches you get about five hours in that kind of mode. So if i get a full day, that's great, if i get two that's even better, if i get a whole week, wow wow yeah – i can get excited okay over here is notifications. I don't have any. If i did, they would be there here is weather in your area tethered to the phone i haven't been able to change it to fahrenheit. I haven't even been able to verify that it's right, but i got weather on there and coming up again.

Is that so we've done all those three directions? This side now is where you get into all of the other stuff. Your step count updated daily last night, sleep in oh. By the way, i think if i tap it, i can get the previous days see that you got a history, so you can kind of check how you're doing on your step count on your sleep time, information there's last night, total six hours. Five minutes you can't go deeper than that, but this one tells you your breakdown between uh, deep sleep and so forth. Then you get in here. I got heart rate, blood pressure, blood, oxygen and e c g. Oh my god! This is really a different ecg. I'Ll put that at the end, for those of you look at that it's in dim mode, it didn't go off and then it switches back to time love it love it. Um i'll i'll go into the ecg later, but let me just tell you heart rate is basic it's a diode thing, it's going to give you a heart rate and it has history on it. So you can go in here and see your history on heart rate and blood pressure. Gon na do the same kind of thing. You can't go deeper than that, but you can get the history and uh blood oxygen, same kind of thing, so basic basic stuff. All the caveats applies to accuracy of these things being able to get those readings i'm not going to go there we've gone there, a bunch just test it with your particular situation and see how it goes.

Ecg, like i said, we will come back to this and do that. One ecg requires plates, and you can kind of see in here that the plates appear to be under this cover which looks like it's permanent. I i'm not gon na peel. That thing off. I think that's part of the waterproofing of the watch, but they do require electrical plates and touching to get a true electrocardiograph signature, um so i'm, not sure if it's really working or not, but i can tell you in the app you'll, see you'll see. Okay, we go one more and now we're into all of the fitness stuff. If i go in here, i have all of these things and um. I can go to more over here, which also includes history, and if i go history, it shows you what you did, but it doesn't give you any deeper detail than that, but it's there and this adds swimming and yoga and we got all the standard stuff. Jumping ropes, all that most of these activities are strictly giving you um time versus uh heart rate versus calories, burned kind of thing. Here i am in running it's, going to give us more steps and distance and overall step count and it's based on pedometer, not gps. So your movement kind of things like running and walking and i think even cycling um by the way i hit the check mark and that saved it. If i would have hit the other one, it would have deleted it.

If i go into cycling, yeah i'm, just getting time, calories and heart rate, and so it's got algorithms for all these other sports. So when you see these different sport watches that say, we do 36 different things. You know playing checkers tiddlywinks, it's, no big deal they're! Really just giving you an estimated calories figured out based on time. How do i get back out of here here? I am so. This is the same basic wheel and that takes you deeper slide. Over we've got a remote music player. You know that works and then we've got the overall settings stuff and you get in here and we've got the find. Your phone information for tethering alarm clocks resume is like a whole reset for the watch basic stopwatch the bright dial that we played with uh camera, remote camera control and now we're back to find your phone. And that takes you back to the wheel, which has most of them on there, but does not have that special right control to turn the always on time on or off. If you have it off which we could do – and you get back here to the main face when it times out, it goes out, and you notice that when i twist my wrist it's, not turning on that's because that's a feature you have to turn on or Off in the app i wish they had that control in here as well. So when i go to bed, i could turn off the always on display.

I mean the always time display and also make sure that the twist your wrist was turned off. It. Doesn'T need to be on in the mode of always on, because it's going to always be on and you don't want it getting brighter all the time. Every time you twist your wrist, so it doesn't apply, but i guess maybe that's why they put it in the app speaking of which it's time for us to take a look at the app anything more. You want to know about this. Doesn'T do phone calls! No speaker, no microphone it's, a fitness watch it's an always on watch uh and it's a gorgeous display, okay, here's the app once again. What you look for is h, plus fit all one word when you're in the google play store, looks like this, you can open it. You'Ll have to set up an account. You have to allow all these different kind of things like keep it active, while it's running for your measurement information, and eventually you get yourself into it, we're skipping. All that part. This is the app i'm already in it it's the sg2, um and here's. Some of the data that we've accumulated now these things populate or depopulate, depending on what the device has available so i've got my step count here's throughout the day, and this is today and yesterday is over there. So i've had a couple of days that i've been working on it and you get a bit basic breakdown.

You can do monthly and weekly and everything last night's sleep time. Six hours, 15 minutes broken into these categories and it's displayed like this. You don't have a chance to identify anything other than off of it right here, but you can you can't, expand it or anything, but basically you're getting a reading of midnight to morning with dark and light colored bands representing the different times of sleep. So you should be able to get information from there. Here'S, the continuous heart rate thing uh it just normalized here when i wasn't wearing it, but had it in the automatic mode now it's giving me some ups and downs with an average a high and a low, and i don't believe i have any more data than That here's yesterday not sure what that step count thing was about um and it was average 90 yesterday, so um just an idea of some data that's in just a couple of days from the heart rate, stuff blood pressure, interesting, you get kind of a squiggly line Of systolic diastolic and again, you don't get to define data any which way so it's not meaningful other than to see. Maybe if you have a trend, that's doing something here's yesterday again got that crazy step function, going on which i don't know what that was about, and then you've got uh blood oxygen, just a particular reading here and as you do these readings, i guess it will Uh show up on here and then we've got the electrocardiogram, which i said we would cover at the end, and we will so let's look at some of the rest of the stuff that's on here.

This was doing a data synchronization. When you pull down it'll, sync it and how you like that watch face and that folks is in that always on mode, i can tap it light it up and there it shows the seconds and then when it goes dim, it's going to always have the seconds At zero after the first minute and it'll be in that dimmer dimmer presentation for you, let's see uh. I did that little running thing for 19 seconds, it's, not much, but it shows you the categories that you can have. I haven't done any collection of data on here again, no gps, so everything we're getting derived from step count, and i don't see a way that you can put in your um stride and without your stride. The links between your steps times. The number of steps to calculate your overall miles without the stride entry i wouldn't, rely heavily on your distance measurements. You might be able to do time and calories uh based on your heart rate, integration with it, but then again, it's a fitness band and you're used to all of that already from fitbit and other things and that's how they all work. So same kind of thing and that's it the running stuff and all of these different categories. When you come here to exercise, this is where you've got all of the different stuff for the day, and what have i got yesterday? I did a yoga and a walking here's, a four minute yoga thing and, of course, it's not having anything other than your max minimum heart rate and average and the overall time i didn't do it enough in yoga to consume any calories and there's no steps associated With yoga, so it depends on the event, but it tracks all those events here gives you an overall summary and you got weekly and you got monthly.

So, as you run up everything and you want to see which ones occurred, where you jump into it that way and sort by month, if you are looking for a specific one now i come over here to uh dial and i don't know why but it's not Populating with the available dials, there are a whole variety of dials, of which that one i showed you at the very beginning is one of them. If i can get that working i'll show you the different dials, otherwise, you'll have the surprise of seeing which ones are available. When you get the device come over here, i got mine, my information, an avatar, a nickname you can put in and all the basic stuff. I usually pick female these days because some of these things have a period tracking capability and it won't even show up if you select mail, so this one does not apparently my device here it is. You can raise the arm to see the time which i have turned on, but it's not going to work when i'm in the always on mode which i set from the watch. But i set the razer uh hand here now here's a problem i got into last night. I turned off the always on mode to go to bed and not have it light up, but i had this switched on. So, as i went to bed, i turned my arm it lit up, so i had to come out to the phone turn that off to make sure that neither of them were were happening uh.

It would be really nice to have a an adjustment to this, which it doesn't to go into to set a do not disturb time. Notification switch is where you set all your um notification, uh of your different apps that you want information pushed to your watch. Your all day, heart rate, switches there and more, which includes alarm settings sedentary reminders. Now this is done right, you see, you can start and end, have an interval and turn it on or off for doing sedentary reminders. We should have the the same thing: there screen saver time, um 60 seconds maximum down to five seconds, not sure i haven't seen anything happen with regard to a screen saver on this, but it's there, and then you can set your overall goals and lots of them. Your basic goal, your sleep target, walking running climbing riding swimming indoor, run all of that stuff. I guess, will evoke an alarm when you hit that target, if you're, using those for specific different exercises and, of course, shut down and restart the device as well clean up. The bracelet erase any data that you don't need in there, so we've really done a good overall look at the app and again dial should be here. There we go. Okay, i had to reboot the phone. I don't know why and then it downloaded off of the server the different watch faces. Apparently every single time you go into the app and you want to do the watch faces.

You got to be on the internet it's going to pull them down. So i have a few four digital ones: that's, the one i installed it looks like on the watch. You can only install one into that extra space, so you get to choose one of these and then you have all the other ones that are stock and then there's. A few different uh analog watch faces as well and remember when it goes into the dim mode. It'S going to be the same face just slightly dimmer and, of course, the seconds will disappear on the ones that show seconds. So if you like, something like that, it's not really going to look any different um in dim mode than bright mode, except just a change in brightness, because it'll automatically update every minute either way. But something like that that the seconds will flip to zero and that's. A quick way when you look at it to know whether you're in that low uh brightness level duh, it should be low. Brightness too all right. We have covered everything in the app except, as i promised, electrocardiogram wow. Oh yeah fasten your seat belts gang. This is, unlike anything, any of us have seen before if you've watched this channel, you know about us doing ekgs and they're the heart wave that you get when you wear your watch and you touch electrodes and we see a thing. That'S got little jumps on it. Well, here's the last one done and it's kinda like a noisy ecg.

It looks like to me – and i say: ecg ekg interchangeably, electrocardiogram german, with the k, english with the c they're the same thing so here's a wave and we've got that peak wave here. That is often what is measured an average to give you your heart rate and it's, also compared to how close or far apart these things are, to give you your heart rate, variability, okay, basic basic, catching you back up with this. What we haven't seen is all the noise that's going on in here as well. This doesn't seem to correspond to the other little squiggles and i'm non medical, so i'm, not going to get very deep in this, but a doctor, or even somebody going to medical school learning how to read these things. We'Ll, look at this and probably say that doesn't really jive i'm, going to show you a couple of other ones that jive even less all in all, though they're, promoting this great big figure here: 56.6 s: d, n n. It shows up here and here and then we got all these other numbers and readings and for the life of me i can't find anywhere where this is broken down and described whether a number higher or lower than a certain value is good or bad or what You do with it, my guess is they intend you to take this reading and pass it on to a medical. Professional breathing is the only thing i can tell that i'm doing and it's saying i got eight of them over.

I guess a set period of time per minute. I don't know anyway take a look at this data here, i'm going to come back here. I want to show you a couple of other ones. This one with a high sdnn is when i messed around with the watch. I put it on my arm and i kind of wiggled it all over. It didn't lose that reading, but it gave me a whole lot of extra noise in here and a very high number then another time i made sure it was nice and moist. I held really still. I relaxed – and i got a reading down here at 37., not as high not as much volume, amplitude and pretty distinct points or peaks between here, and i am totally grabbing at straws – to try and put relevance to this number from something i'm seeing in the chart Makes no sense at all to me honestly. I could follow politics and understand better than this and that's total bogus, so i got breadth of seven. Ah, i don't know um, and this is a whole bunch of data in here i got some high ones. I got some low ones here's. Another 78 looks all noisy to me: um any low ones in here anything under 30. yeah, i messed around with it a lot trying to figure it out and i can't figure it out an average one of 43 looks kind of like that. So if you want to stick with me, i'm going to do a real one right now, otherwise you can bail out of here, but i do want to show you before you go that you can get this thing from gearbest.

Okay check the show notes down below for the link and a discount coupon it's in flash sale right now, so it should be a good price. I'Ll show this once more at the very end, but if you're leaving yeah and you want it, please use our link. Okay, okay, i'm gon na strap up and let's go okay. I ran a couple of tests just before setting this thing up for you to see. If what i thought might happen happened, and it does let's see if i can balance this on my hand, i want to show you now we're going to go over here to the ecg area we're going to tap it, it doesn't say to wait or anything to Get started it just kind of begins now those of you who know – and we all know by now ecg requires an electrical signal through the heart. It means one lead is kind of on the back of the watch and it goes through my heart and i have to touch another electrode somewhere at the bottom. On the case notice. The heart rate numbers are changing right here. It should be i'd have to touch electric make electrical contact for there to be that wave watch this going through my heart that didn't happen in this particular test. There'S two plates: you saw on the bottom that seemed to be covered with plastic, and at no time did i touch the case to create a circuit.

It just finished, it said, go to the app else. If it's not updating automatically. I pull down like this and it says data synchronization. This is all done. It'S in the uh low time display mode, so it'll just time down and show you that, and over here was at 37 when it finally gets it transferred. It should update this number. Okay, i had to wait a few seconds there you go it jumped now wow. I got two of them at 37, 16, exactly that's, interesting at 10, 40 and 10 42, and this is it 10 43.. Well, anyway, here we go there's uh the chart, there's the numbers, and that was done without touching the case. Come back here and let's. Take a look at these two memorize these numbers and look at that chart i'm, just wondering if it came in here twice or what hm anyway wan na. Do it one more time, okay, i'm gon na leave it on this page, as you can tell, there is no actual way to see the chart i'm going to touch it this time. Oh something else just came in 40 or i hit something with my hand. I think is what happened: yeah yeah, because it's still 61. i'm kind of moving it around i'm. Putting my fingers underneath it i'm messing with it. Whoops got into history. It'S still doing its thing. You don't see anything here, but you do see here which i presume the heart rate is coming from the optical sensor.

Underneath okay, it's done it says, go to the app to see it again should be linked and transferring it automatically. But if not, i can pull down to refresh it and we'll see what the new number is in just a few moments that didn't take long. Did it? Okay got a new number it's, all messed up, it's a big number. I got squigglies um. I got data and i got total confusion as to what i'm looking at here, i yeah and i don't see a way to export this either. Do you not there do i press and hold no okay? So if i want to send this data, i got to screenshot it. I guess to send it out to somewhere yeah. So the implementation of ecg on this watch is a real, a toy. It really is just for fun and play uh, mostly i'd say this watch is great for it's uh, always on time, display, possibility and the brightness and clarity and beauty of the screen, and perhaps some of the other other things like your step. Count your sleep time and your heart rate and question the blood pressure a bit here. We go some blood pressure readings over the last few hours and here's yesterday, uh so they're up and down all over the place and again there's, no gauge that you can tell what these numbers are and i can't. Oh sorry, i got my display brightness going on this one.

There we go uh, i can't touch on it anywhere and get representations of the actual value, so it's pretty much useless other than just uh for entertainment, but it's a nice overall watch. I really do like it. It'S gon na be on my bedside as a watch to wear when i wan na go out – and you know, keep an eye on the time without to twist your whisk and wait for the darn thing to light up that always on time display the rapid charger And i'm hoping the really great battery life that you're going to get with it in this mode, which i'm going to start testing right after this video and i'll have in the show notes how long the battery lasted in this mode. Okay off and on i'll, be using it as a regular watch, so it'll be doing a few other things and we'll see we'll test it out. Flash sale, gearbest show notes, link thanks for being here. I'Ll see you again soon well before i pop this up, i want to tell you guys this is the one it's, the one it's that always time thing is awesome, and i am now coming up on four days. It just went from where it said 20 down to zero, but i think i still got 20 left before zero, so i maybe could even squeeze five days out of it that's using the always time during the day and at night having everything off.
