Now in todays, video im super excited to present you, the brand new amazfit gts3 that i have here now. This device is not officially launched here in malaysia, yet in fact, amazefit malaysia reached out to me and asked me if i want to check this out, and of course i said yes now. This device here is only going to be launched in malaysia on november. The 5th, so all my friends in malaysia just take note of that date, all right so done with that in todays, video im still going to show you everything you need to know about the amazing gts3 whats new about it. It also comes with a brand new os, which you know have a lot of more new features in the watch, so ill be going through each and every feature with you. So you have a very clear idea on what the amazefit gts3 is all about. Now this device ive waited for it for almost one year now, since the amazing gts2. So i hope theres going to be a lot of new stuff to share with you guys now before i begin this video. Of course, if you could just like the videos sub to the channel, if you didnt see content like this, it would really mean a lot to me all right. Having said that, lets begin with the video right away right now, all right guys. So this is the amazefit gts3 in its brand new box and, as you can see, uh from the kind of boxes that we have here.
Obviously we do have the brand new amazefit logo as well, and we have this really kind of a cool looking box right here from amazefit. So were not going to talk too much about the box. Basically ive already unboxed this guy and in the box. There is the watch itself as well as a charger, so were going to take a look at the watch here, because thats actually the real fun stuff. This guys is the amaze fit gts3. Now, as you can see here, let me just start off very quickly with the design and we do have a slightly larger 1.75 inch amoled display and just putting it side by side with my amazefit gts 2e. Here this is the previous version. 1.65 inches side by side, ive intentionally put this wallpaper on, so you can see the differences in the sizes. This is slightly larger, but you can see it is a more square form factor compared to the previous amazfit gts2e. Now take a look at the design as well. Here we do have slightly slimmer, bezels on the left and right, whereas the top and bottom bezels are also a little bit more thinner than the previous version. Honestly speaking, if you always use a black wallpaper, you wont be able to see these bezels, but this is just a quick comparison side by side in terms of the sizes of the display, alright guys. So another thing that amazefit is claiming improved on the display right here is that now the display goes all the way up to 1000 nits of brightness.
That means it gets really really bright outdoors, so thats also a good thing there. Another thing that amazement is introducing to this display right here is the fact that it has support for 60hz refresh rate, so on the previous amazfit gts2 and gtx2e. You might find that it is not as smooth as what you can see on the latest gts3. So this is slightly smoother in terms of the overall user experience. I can just show it to you very quickly by moving into the menus. Just look at how smooth that kind of interaction is, you feel like it is almost on your smartphone, so its very, very smooth here on this amoled display right here, all right. So, in terms of the design, you also still get aluminum alloys on the sides here, but whats really new here is that we do have this new crown at the side, which you can actually rotate to go through the menus. Now ive mentioned it before. If youre too lazy to just swipe across like that, you can also just play with this little guy right here and whenever you do turn the crown you actually do get vibrating haptic feedback on the crown itself. So i think thats pretty cool here for the amaze feed gts3 now in terms of the straps, it is still the same 20 mm kind of straps on the amazing gts3 right here and you can see we do have this very nice new texture going on with The straps here, honestly speaking, it does elevate the look of it to a certain extent.
It does look a little bit more cooler. I mean compared to the previous one, which was totally smooth and all that. But, of course, if you do not like the straps on the amazed gt s3, you can always use these tiny latches to switch them out to other straps of your personal preference. Now. Another thing you might notice here is that we do have this kind of rip. Texture on the back of the straps, so that it might provide better grip on your wrist. This is how the previous one looks like it was really smooth. So again, i think that is a slight improvement in terms of the silicone straps that we are getting here. Overall, in terms of the look wise, it looks very similar to the previous amazfit gts2, but yeah. This is basically it. I honestly like this look very much. It is very minimalist and still very simplistic, just like before all right. So now that were done talking about the design itself, let us take a look at the operating system and what is new, so lets start off very quickly by swiping down from the top notice that we do have quite a fair bit of shortcuts over here. Starting off with your flashlight, you have your do not disturb you. Have your theater mode, your tips, your calendar right here. Let me just type that for you, so you can see it. You have a full calendar right now going back.
We also have your battery percentage. Adjusting the brightness, locating your smartphone and, of course, this quick button to enter into the settings menu so thats what you get with that pull down quick shortcut menu. Now, if you just drag up from the bottom right here, this is where you get into your notifications and, of course, you can just use this thing to glide around very easily notice that on certain notifications here, you actually do have the app icon, such as facebook. Over here and for other apps, you do not really have an app icon over there, but you can still see a decent amount of text on this thing right here so were not going to check out the notifications. Right now were going to see what else we have now, if you glide towards the left right here. This is where you enter into your widgets. We have a few new widgets here. Everything is redesigned on the zap os right here. So this is just a quick overview of my daily activity, number of steps, how many times ive stood up and the amount of minutes that i was active if i just swipe across this, is where we have this one tab measurement. So what this does is, whenever i just hit that it will go ahead and measure a couple of stuff. There notice that we do have a couple of icons there, so you will measure my my heart rate. It will measure my stress levels, my spo2 all just with a single tap of the button so swiping across here we do get our weather here notice that there is little bit of animations going on with the clouds behind very nice touch and again all of these Widgets are live, and what i mean by life is that you can interact with them whenever you click into the widgets itself, you enter into the app so its very convenient to just jump into the apps for more information.
Now gliding across lets see what else we have here. We have my pai, my pi. Obviously this is still zero, because i only just unboxed this a couple of minutes ago. Moving on, we have the sleep data right here again. I have not slept using this watch. Yet if you have, i will actually be able to tap into this, and then i will see more information such as my time of awake, rem, light sleep, deep sleep and all those information, and what i really like about this new os right here is that i Am now able to see a lot more information directly on the watch without having to keep switching to the app itself so thats, very cool here, all your data are actually on the watch itself now moving on here. This is where i get back to the cards menu right here. This is something that you can customize. You can put a couple of cards here, so you can have quick glance into the entire list of items that you have in here, very, very nice to use and again just look at how smooth it glides guys. It is very, very smooth here so like you. Can see already, this is basically a loop if you just go right that you can see, that is all the widgets and then it comes back to these cards, and then you come back to the main screen so thats just how the main menu and widgets work.
Now lets see what kind of applications we do have inside the watch here lets start off very quickly with the ones on the top. So for the pie, i wont talk about that, because ive already mentioned about that now in terms of the heart rate. Of course, you can measure your heart rate throughout the entire day, with one minute interval building the minimum. Apart from that, you also have your spo tools. Um again, i dont have to talk about this. You guys really are very familiar with this feature right here. All right, so, of course, if you go down the list, we also have this one tab measuring which i mentioned earlier on now. If you go down into your workouts, this is actually pretty interesting, because now the amazon gt s3 supports up to 150 different activities. Now you have your very standard kind of activities and you have a lot more of different activities as well. Even esports is on the list now and it will actually measure your amount of stress when you are gaming. Obviously, if you want more workouts, you can always tap on that button right there and the list just goes on guys ill drop, a link to the official website where you can see the full list of 150 different activities over there. Now whats really cool about this workout modes. Is that right now theres a couple of new features so im going to show you very quickly if i just go into the outdoor running right here and if i just glide down notice that we have this assistant right here now, if you go into the assistant, You can see your workout goals, you can go into your workout alerts, your auto lab, auto, pos and whats.
Really new here is the brand new virtual pacer. So what this means is, you can set a virtual competitor against yourself, so you can set the pace of this virtual guy or whatever. You can just turn that on and go into the pace, set the pace and go for your run to actually see whether you are faster than that virtual competitor. So i know that this is a function of another brand kind of a smart watch or some something like that. But that is something that we do have on the workout modes right now and i think it its very useful because it gives you more motivation to try and run a little bit more faster, making sure that you are ahead of that virtual pacer, so thats, something That i like about this a new feature here now. Obviously this watch also still supports gps, so you dont have to carry your phone with you and i have tested it very quickly, a quick gps test earlier on and it works very fast. So i know that, on the previous amazing watches, some of you might have complained that the gps there isnt that strong, but the gps on this amazement, gt s3, is definitely improved. Now done with the workouts lets check out what else we have here. We also have your workout history, your workout status, your stress, your activities now activities here is basically your activity for the day. It just tells you what you have been doing for the day.
You have your sleep, your weather, your music controls now bear in mind that you can no longer store music in the amazing gts3 uh. You cant do that anymore. It doesnt even come with a speaker, so you cant hear audio coming out from this watch. You also have your alarms, your calendars, your settings and your more buttons right here will take you into more stuff like a sun and moon. It shows you when the sun gets up and when the moon gets up and get down. So that is something that might be useful to some of you guys out. There were gon na go back. You also have your compass. You have a barrel meter right here. That shows the air pressure. It also shows your altitude, so thats also useful. For those of you guys who like to go hiking and all that you have your cycle tracking for the ladies – your brief, your stopwatch and all that. So again, these are a couple of functions that you are already familiar with, so i wont go into that now. One brand new thing about the amazing gtx 3 is that it now supports the app store in the zap app itself, so the zap app itself has a couple of apps that you can actually download and then push it to the watch. So, for instance, there is this app called the calculator you can also download it and push it to the watch.
So you can have a calculator on the watch itself, which is, i think, quite cool, because the app store right now has only 10 apps. But you can definitely see the direction where amazefit is going theyre going to add more apps to that. So it adds more value to your smartwatch, all right so in terms of the battery life, for this amazing gt s3 right here, according to amaze feed under heavy usage, you will get about like five or six days of use under one single charge. Personally, im thinking, probably about two or three days for my extensive usage here, actual battery life will definitely differ. Based on how you use your smartwatch all right guys, i think thats pretty much what i want to cover today in terms of the pricing. Yes, i saw that it was launched in the u.s for about 180 dollars, so hopefully, when it reaches malaysia, i think it might be approximately 750 ringgit or so only time will tell all right guys. I think thats all im going to cover today with the amazi3. Last but not least, let me just very quickly put it on my wrist, so you have an idea on how it looks like on your wrist now again im a pretty skinny guy right here. So lets see how it looks like i use all the way to the back right there and yeah. This is how it looks like i think it looks just very similar to the previous amazefit gts2, but yes, definitely appreciating that much larger display on the gts3.
