So here are my thoughts, so first the design i like it so it’s a round smart watch with metal, build with one side, button and i’m really surprised on how good it is built, especially for its price. It does have a swappable ban, which is great as well, and another good thing would be the screen real estate, which is around 1.28 inch, although it’s also one of its weakness, since this only have a tft lcd panel with 240 by 240 pixels, rather an oled Panel, so for the outdoor use it’s, just okay, though you will need to push it to the highest brightness in terms in comfort. It is great in the hand – and i have no issues at all so to turn on the screen. You can either race to wake. It like this and or you can press the side button to wake it up, and it will show you the main screen for your watch face and when you press and hold it, you can actually change the watch face like what you’re seeing right now, although it Is of only five watch faces and then, when you swipe to the left or right, it will show here the widgets all right and then uh when it’s right to the right. So you’ll see here the stats, widget, the heart rate, widget and then the sleep tracker. Widget and then the weather, widget and some reading exercise widget as well, so with that either you can just swipe it to the left and right to access those widgets, and we swipe down you’ll, see here the control panel with option for the brightness and then settings And do not disturb mode as well.
So when you swipe app um, you will see this tab, uh widget again and then the heart rate wizard and the sports weekend so uh for the sports widget or you will see here the different 12 sports modes that you can see, especially when you’re doing some Exercise so you can use that for boxing for football etc, and then you can see also the weather app there again. The sleep tracking, app uh like what show right now and then the nautilus app, which is like all of the notification there that you receive. Normally, it will also pop up on your watch and then there are also an option for music setting on controlling the music on your phone and also the more option which do you have to stop, watch countdown and find phone feature and then the tracking bit tracking And then the settings for options for changing the face, watch and also um you’ll also have the option for brightness to turn it off and then it’s version as well, and two factor reset this smartwatch. It does have an ip68 grading as well, so it can take a splash, sweat or rain. Performance is good and it is responsive and it does track. Well, your steps, distance and calories. It notifies you if you have messages or notification on your app it’s, pretty straightforward and very stable, in my experience only on one exception when the slip tracking won’t work, though after i reset it, it works.
Fine again. Battery is really great on the smartwatch, although i haven’t achieved yet there are 30 days of reading, but based from my usage, i always have around 10 to 15 days of battery life, which is great already. So here is the halo feed app the companion app here for this halo, solar lso5. So you can see the stats widget there, the heart rate, monitoring and sleep record. If you have already some records there, it will definitely pop up there and then on the top right corner. You can choose the option to remove the heart rate and sleeping tracking widget, and then you can also click for on the top left for the weather. So you can see the weather updates there and then um. You can also choose this other option for sports mode. You can add their additional sports mode, and this is mostly like more on the settings here for the halo, solar watch, so the heart rate monitoring. So if you want to have a call reminder on your smart watch, you can also activate it. There then app uh the push notification there, so you can choose different apps to send notification on your smartphone and then the sedimentary reminder it’s, like it’s. Just a reminder that you need to move or do some exercise and then raise to hand, feature alarm, clock and then there’s do not disturb mode. And then this universal setting, which is for a 12 hour system and then for uh for on screen time as well and also uh.
If you want to sms notification as well, you can just turn it on and then the firmware upgrade. This is where you will upgrade the software version of your uh smartwatch and then clear data is like a factory resetting and then there you can see the other options here for your accounts. So overall, i really like the halo feed app here. This companion, app and it’s, really straightforward and user friendly and definitely uh adds to the better experience here for the haley solar watch. So, lastly, let’s talk about its price, so uh other end here, uh on philippines it’s around 1400 pesos, which is around 30 us dollars for international market. So when i purchase it, it does already include an extra wideband which is already output there in this review and also a free tempered glass so for its price, it’s, very cheap and competitive. The only downside that i see with the smart watch would be its lcd screen and its limited face watch, but overall, with its performance and long battery life and its price definitely it’s one of the best cheap, smart watch on the market right now.
