Com inside this pouch is something you've seen before this is the well you pulse bit exu. Remember this puppy preak ovid, which we could use to touch your hand and get an ECG chart. Wow have things changed over time? This thing is still available, but it's definitely been upgraded again. This is the pulse bit e X and its primary stake to claim was ECG monitoring and it's about a hundred and twenty dollars or so well. Post covet, the company came out with all the bells and whistles in a device called the check me pro doctor and this one Wow. It does the ECG, but it also has a thermometer thingy on it that you could take the temperature from the forehead a little lifting thing. You could get blood oxygen porch. You could plug in a cuff to get your blood pressure. This little gives Willy to do. I don't even know what all kinds of stuff, in fact, this thing is so Universal that the company gave several hundred of these out to first responders and hospitals in dealing with the kovat situation and here's. What that one looks like, and we reviewed it. Also that checked me bro it's in its little sleeve, now that I could put a band on it and actually wear it as a watch. If I wanted to, you, have a direct daily check and heart rate blood oxygen temperature blood pressure, like I said all of those things capable in this little device.
The only thing was, if you check the price on this one buying this as a consumer, is a bit well it's about four hundred and sixty dollars, or so there was a scaled down home edition for about three hundred, but still a little bit out of range. For most folks, so today, we're gon na review an intermediary product between the two of these is called the check, mean light so it's like the ECG one. We looked at already and it's like the more sophisticated one in that it's got the blood oxygen built into it, so it does two things: blood oxygen actually does three blood oxygen and ECG and of course, along with ECG, you generally get pulse rate as well. So let me show you the overview of this and then we're going to open the box. The check me light handheld oximeter with ECG, and they have a special light plus that has a little infant external sensor on it. I neck you. This is the little dongle that you could tie on and and get this reading from a child's body. Apparently then, it's available for a little extra cost, so basically it's a daily check to have in twenty seconds your measurement of all of these factors and fast, reliable check of the blood oxygen level pulse rate and P. I either with or without the external sensor. 30. Second, ECG record an auto analysis, which means it can tell you basically an interpretation on whether it's a good rhythm or abnormal, which may help you to have a deeper look by a physician or someone.
You can do a lead one and lead to you. Have external cables and pads all the bells and whistles that came with the original or part of this one? You can hold 300 sets of data in the built in memory of all of these things, with the daily check, the the pulse oximeter and the ECG recording 100 sets for each function before you transfer it to a computer, and then, of course, you can load it Up again, you connect by bluetooth and computers by USB here's. The box it's called the check me light via tom. Is a company and it's marketed to us from well you who has brought us all the other good stuff here: pulse ECG, heart rate, health, tracker Shinzon via tom technology, company there's, their address and information and direct website. By the way, we have the links to all all these different devices below the shownotes here and if you use our link, that would be much appreciated, because that helps us get more of these products from these guys to review. For you, we've got a nice big manual in here in different languages and we do peach. I know we're gon na get to it squabble ahead. If you want to you get right to the review, but I do put the manual up here just in case, you don't find it anywhere else, and this has bailed some people out on other products where they just had no clue what to do and having the Actual manual on the screen in YouTube, where you can freeze frame, it is very valuable, so just freeze frame it on your large device that you can read everything here and you can learn about calibration, ECG, recording measuring with and without cables the proper body placement.
For these devices this is actually a very important manual to have. So if you've misplaced – yours, you remember, you can always come to YouTube, find out what you might be missing on it care and cleaning troubleshooting accessories, the overall specs for it, and I think that's about it. Oh no, we got electromagnetic compatibility to remember this particular device. All of these devices are really high end instruments that have gone through a lot of rigorous testing for accuracy. Okay, there we go to a new in it, so it's actually giving you all the formulism and stuff that they've done to ensure the reliability and accuracy of this to make it worthy of being used by first responders here's. A little quick use guide of the the places of the different things front view back view measurement without cables. It'S really simple to use will guide you through that and then, if you are going to use cables the different places that you put lead one and lead to a tip card. This is the app that you're going to download called my beats and there's the iOS, and this is the Android, but for Android just check below in the show notes and click on the link and it'll. Take you right over there to download it. You got a one year, warranty card with this one and that's it. So here we go inside the box. Is the little unit open it up? You did make note of the of the time down in the corner, so you know when the review actually starts right.
Get all that paperwork stuff done out at the front and there it is looks very, very similar to the other one. Where Dec I go here we go there's the really fancy advanced one – and here is the basic introductory one. These two are almost identical, as you can see, with the exception that there's this little lid thing you can lift here. Alright, the backs are the same. Basically, dimensions are the same it's white, this one's dark blue same diameter. Now this has a little like. I said a little plastic sleeve that it's in right now, but without that on you can see. This is the same, except it's also got the temperature probe on here as well, but other than that those are all the same and there's other things you can access through the cable connection, including the blood pressure on the the advanced one that you can't on the New one keeping them straight here: alright, this has got the arrows on the screen and that and it's white. So it really is that the lovechild of these two, I guess, will turn it on in a second. We want to get deeper in the box. Oh my gosh wow wow wow. Alright, I think I've got the advanced, the Plus version cuz. This looks like the baby, cuff doesn't it the parts that you would plug in and strap around child nice yeah yeah. So I know we haven't even gotten to the machine.
We'Re, showing you the parts ooh is that where it comes off, I think so velcro right yeah, Wow it's on there, okay, yep there's the sensor, so you would on a child put this around and it almost makes it on me. Look at that plug this into that port on the side and you'll be able to get the blood oxygen in the same way that you do here, Wow nice, all right, thanks guys, I get to show this thing off. It looks like you've also got an extender. You know if you got a senior in your life and and that senior maybe is I don't know in a situation with covet that you're a bit concerned about, and you know, blood oxygen is really really important to make sure that you're getting enough oxygen to the Brain and the covet attacks the lungs and yeah I'm, not a doctor on any of this, but it just seems actually there's an article out there if you uh, if you check the media, if I could find it I'll put a link to it. It was about the first case in one of the states, and it actually was a medical doctor that came down with it and he realized that blood oxygen was critically important. This looks like it's, an extender, cable, so yeah we just have a little short wire there. This would let us extend the range of this a little bit more anyway. It'S a really good read about the importance of maintaining a blood oxygen level.
That'S high enough is a saint to sustain you. You won't actually die from the blood oxygen going down to low, but you can have some serious brain consequences as well. Usb connector that lets you plug this thing in and hook it up to your computer for transferring data that way and again it's got bluetooth in it, so it can do it that way: Wow there's a thing here's. Another thing this is for the ECG. I remember that from our first one plug that in – and you can attach this to your body in a couple of places in the manual it talked about here in here and then there's some chest points – you can put it on Wow there's, a lanyard that you Can put it so you can carry it ease there's this, like hello, it looks like a thumb drive to me. I don't know I yeah. Did you see it in the manual when I flipped it past? I don't know all right and inside this box, then our electrodes and you know what those are. Those are the little pili things you're gon na stick on here right and then you snap, this stuff onto those electrodes, and you can do your remote ECG reading with with it hooked up to wires and not actually use it with the touch capability. Okay, we got all that goodies, and we have already looked at the manual next thing is: is to test it out to show you what it can do all by itself, without even being hooked up to a computer or other wires.
So we're gon na be looking at this one. The check mean light, but just to let you know all of the other devices that you see here, plus the finger oximeters and other things you can pick them up any of them all of them for a 15 discount. If you go over to well, you using this link, tinyurl.com slash, go well, you enter that way and you'll be helping mr. ticks out and you'll get a 15 discount as well off of any of them. Okay, the checkmate pro we start by pressing and holding the power button we get to welcome and then the opening screen, ECG recorder, pulse oximeter, review your data and overall settings. We start in here and see you can set up bluetooth. You have volume on it, so you can raise it or lower it and brightness that's really bright already, actually date and time to fix that an overall voice guide on this one language, blood pressure, calibration mmm, hmm, the ECG bandwidth – is normal checking it for software update Erase data factory reset send the data to the PC and an overall about. I guess I tapped that to the PC thing come back here. Let'S do the ECG forty lead one step. One to me is the easiest one to do. You have a plate in the back, a plate here and you're gon na pinch, these puppies and as soon as you touch it to your hand right here in lead, one it's gon na go and when it does, I was actually talking to me right there.
It was telling me what to do, but the volume was really low, as you saw in the pulse bit ex review, it gives you a 30 second heart wave and it is real, as you see I can mess around with it screw it all up. Doesn'T, like that, put it back on again, and it goes again and look at that it started all over it. New automatic that's, an improvement. They knew automatically it wasn't secure enough to give good data, so I can't really screw around with it too much. I guess otherwise: it'll start over you see in the lower right is giving me my heart rate, which, after three cups of coffee and talking with you guys at full volume, is understandable that I should be in the high 80s, the heart wave. If any of you are trained and that looks irregular granted, okay, my QRS is 98 milliseconds and it's not going to tell me what is irregular on it. It'S just gon na say it's irregular parameters, heart rate should be here. Qrs interval should be there. There is the date and time, and I could come back and look at it at any time or I could throw it away or I can replay it again. So I can use it right straight from here. Show it to a doctor. Look at it myself whatever and I can export it later so that it's archived and then could be emailed or sent out that way.
So we're gon na bail out of here and get back to the front, and now we do the blood oxygen. I insert my finger in the system in the sensor, that's easy or for me, the relaxed part is hard now, if you notice there's a red diode at the top, and it appears to be shining through my finger and it's getting the and it's beeping as well, And we're, getting it totally different kind of waveform there I'm getting pulse off of this one as well, but it's, primarily analyzing, and giving me my blood oxygen, which I also expect to be a bit low, cuz, I'm rhythmic, breathing right now and not deeply. So I got low blood oxygen great. I got negative data, so I can show you guys something is it's really a bummer when it's all beautiful and normal. My PR is 77 for a minute that's, my pulse rate and the eye pulse interval. I don't know five point: seven low blood oxygen again information shows you I'm at the very bottom of the the recommended zone 93 to 100 pulse rate. Oh here we go it's the perfusion index point five to ten. I don't know what P is so you? Hopefully you do or we could research it and find out. You'Re gon na have your time up here and a battery level as well. Come back here and I got my overall data review daily checks, none ECG an oximeter and we could go in and look at all of those now that's where we get to the daily check.
As we already looked at settings daily check is a quick thing that lets me do all at once. As long as I stick my finger in here, I hold the plates like this, and I touched that to my hand, and I go on Music. There we go heart wave at the top blood oxygen down below pulse in the lower right hand, corner percentage at ninety. Seven of my blood oxygen I presume, and the orange bar, showing me the time – duration of the thirty twenty second analysis – and I got normal blood oxygen this time and I got an irregular ECG rhythm here and it's available for playback anytime right here. On the check me light or the check me Pro or you know the whole work, so it works, it works really well, and it does let you know if it's seeing something irregular in your heart wave, which is really really special. Okay, what I wanted to do is also show you now a little bit of the comparison of these different devices. This one's in a color screen and the pulse bit X is also color screen. Turn that one on same welcome a little bit different between the two. You have two different people you can put in here person a and B, and it only does ECG this one. You have only one person, but it does ECG and blood oxygen, the pulse oximeter and it does daily check that will do both of them simultaneously to okay.
Then you get to the black and white screen that's, always on of the check meet row. When you tap the button you can go now. You can actually turn the thing all the way off, but you can leave it on and it'll be in time display these guys they have a time in the corner, but they they don't have that big time display again here we have the your overall ECG and Blood oxygen just like with this one, but it also adds temperature and external blood pressure reading that you can get to it by plugging in here one of the cuffs that they sell, and you can record your blood pressure reading and, of course, you got the daily Check on this one, just like on this one, there we go daily check, they check it's. Just you got two factors here and four, and there and yeah a bit more sophisticated in what it does. But the blood oxygen is done with the finger sensor or with hook up to the wires. So now you've seen the data on the device. How about moving the data off the device? Well, three different ways, at least for doing that, to an Android app to a PC or to a Macintosh. So when we have the device setup with the my beats hub, which is available in the Google Play Store or you can scan it from the QR code, you saw on the screen or just click.
The link in the show notes. It'Ll, take you to there download it into your Android phone. Come in here, it's gon na give you a page where you can view your offline data, which we have already transferred over here, or you just simply put this in Bluetooth mode. The model will show up and you can connect it, but it takes a little while for that so I'm gon na go offline and I'm gon na show you my data from twelve sixteen forty on June 25th. It says tap this button and there I am. I got my ECG chart and what's really cool. This is saying, it's an irregular rhythm, and this is the one with those fancy double peaks that I was getting Oh, which is interesting. I can take this square, I can move it. I can put it down here, for example, double tap it and it's gon na bring me right into the chart at that location. So we could do a deeper analysis of all of this also way back at the very beginning, you notice it. It puts a little reference 1 millivolt scale on here. So as this thing is scaled to what you want, you know what you're looking at in terms of the intensity of the signal and, of course from here he says, come back here. I can export it right here. I can go to save it to the album on on the phone or share it to any different source, including email or whatever, to send it out.
There'S, the blood ox reading in that daily check as well, so I've got the daily checks here. I can come in here and I can go to a separate, ECG recorder and there's a chart from that or I can go if I've done separate, pulse oximeter readings and you get the data right on the screen from within the app okay. A few other things in here that you see listed are for other devices, because what we have is ECG and pulse oximeter, but that check me bro, of course, does temp temperature blood pressure. You can do blood glucose if you've got that hooked up sleep monitoring and so forth. All your settings, my device all that's in here as well, that's the Android app. But then, if you are on a computer, you can go to download PC software or in this case Macintosh software, just to show you the pulse bit browser Pro. This is from a Mac from the Apple Store, Mac's store. I simply install it and some representatives graphs. You get that all of the breakdown of each of your ECG charts shown right next to the entry, so real quick way to locate information, and, of course you can bring up an individual report as well examine it. Send it out do all that stuff that's the pulse bit. Browser Pro gives you guidance, that all you need to do is hook in the wire that connects to the PC or Mac, go to the device and tap the Settings and go to PC from the directory.
And you get yourself hooked up and then you could transfer the data over there. You go all of the different ways of seeing everything very interesting, very cool stuff once again, remember well use the company that's marketing these tinyurl.com go well.you is the link it'll be in the show, notes, there's, also direct links to each of the products. When you watch the reviews and the individual reviews of each of these is also in the show notes, plus the o2 ring, which is that fancy ring, you can wear at night that monitors your blood oxygen while you sleep and thank you guys for letting me deviate Away from Strictly wearables for once well maybe twice to cover these kind of devices, because it's important to know what's out there on the market. Speaking of wearables same company well.you has got a special watch. The labor smart ECG watch got a review on that coming up. It'S, here I'm playing with it, really interesting check it out. If you want to see it firsthand tinyurl.com slash go well, you all these products are over there.
